2015 Festival

Uke Players

The Redlands Ukulele Festival happened at Cleveland again this year, bigger and brighter than ever, on 13th and 14th June at various venues around Cleveland. The Festival included ukulele workshops, concerts and general jams right across the weekend.

Thank you to the Cleveland State School for providing their hall as the wet-weather venue for our Sunday concert, which was a great success despite the bad weather.
Headline act The Montgomery Brothers, featuring Ryo Montgomery dazzled audiences with their musicianship and uke pyrotechnics. Thom Jackson performed both days and Bobby Alu, winner of Most Popular Male Performer at the recent Queensland Music Awards, came to the Festival to present workshops and concert sets on Saturday, and wowed the crowd with his smooth island style and laid-back rhythm.
